Johnny Depp, the well known actor was born in 1963 in Kentucky. His mother Betty Sue Palmer was a waitress and his father was a civil engineer John Christopher Depp, Sr. He has a brother named Danny and two sisters Christie, who is now Depp?s personal manager and Debbie. Throughout his childhood, his family was always on the move and finally they settled in Miramar, Florida in 1970. At the age of 12, Depp?s mother gifted him with a guitar that motivated him to be a musician. He also started to perform in garage bands. When he was 15, his parents divorced and out of insecurity and other stress related issues, he engaged himself in self-harm. During that that he dropped out of high school aspiring to be a rock musician. Later, he joined a band named The Kids which was locally popular. The band aspiring to make it big went to Los Angeles changing their band?s name to Six Gun Method. However, the band split before signing the contract. On December 24th, 1983, Depp married his band?s bass player and singer?s sister Lori Anne Allison, a make up artist. It was she who introduced her husband to the world of motion picture by introducing him to actor Nicholas Cage.
